Very sad and lonely rabbit! - any advice?

If you don't want to get him some more company then YOU will have to keep him company, so bring him inside with you while you are at home and put him in his hutch at bedtime, train him to use a cat litter box and he will use that when he is inside. its all part of being a pet owner.
