What saxophone should I play?

You should probably start with the alto because it is smaller and easier to learn all the s and how to hold it. Then, once you get better on that you can ask your teacher to switch to another sax, if you'd like to. Many people switch, but they all started on alto, and it is a good skill to know before learning how to play the other saxes.
