Hydrocortisone Cream?

Hydrocortisone is an anti-inflammatory drug that stabilizes lysosomal membranes. Can someone please xplain how this effect reduces cell damage and inflammation. Have you or someone close to you ever had occasion to need an anti-inflammatory? For what type of condition or injury? Did the stabilization of lysosomal membrane have an effect on pain?
