Is the role of Satan in misleading us primary or secondary ?

Satan is playing the role he is supposed to play by Allah's plan. His job (and his followers) is to draw out our dark sides if he can. Misleading us is how he does this, he gives phoney promises and false doctrines for us to follow. If Satan was not around to do this, but only goodness was taught and encouraged, there would be no need for a judgment day, we'd all be perfect robot followers of Allah. This way of testing our souls is much more interesting for us.
