If you denounce God.....?

Is it true, according to Christianity, that if you denounce God or Jesus, you will not go to Heaven? What if you repent? I thought I've heard somewhere that this is the only sin for which you will never be forgiven by God. All you have to say is, "I do not believe in God/Jesus?"
