Any major construction Ideas/Solution to save people from Tsunamis?

like build an "Elevated city" 10-20meters high..or build like a "tsunami wall"..but what happens if this wall was breached..water will still enter the city. ppl should really tak about solutions..this could be a major engineering feat..but its the only way to save our civilization..ppl will go away..but these tsunamis will Stay..
